SPICE IDENTIFICATION CONTEST
Clients visit a spice garden where they are taken on a tour to see spices in their natural state. They participate in the preparation of a traditional meal using the spices they have seen Finally after consuming this meal they will be handed a questionnaire on spices and the participants with correct answers will be gifted with a quantity of spices.
FISHING VILLAGE THEME NIGHT
A typical fishing village with huts, catamarans and fishing nets is created on the beach with a seafood B-B-Q dinner Service will be by hotel staff dressed as fishermen. Lighting with flaming torches and calypso music adds to the atmosphere.
JUNGLE THEME NIGHT/TORCH LIT BBQ DINNER BY THE LAKE
A jungle theme is created with models dressed like aborigines, open spit fireplaces etc. In Habarana, by the lake a torch lit barbeque dinner with fire limbo to set the mood for a night with a Jungle atmosphere.
TRISHAW CITY TOUR
This is mainly used as a gimmick during a normal coach city lour. At a secluded pre-planned spot the coach breaks down (intentionally). Clients are kept for a few minutes and just before they start to worry a fleet of Trishaws decorated with flags of the company arrive and enable them to complete the city tour. Trishaws are 3 wheel scooter (axis similar but smaller than the Bangkok Tuk-Tuk. Maximum 2 pax per trishaw.
GEM COCKTAIL
An inexpensive gems tone is frozen in ice cubes and placed in the clients welcome cocktail as a surprise.
TREASURE HUNT FOR BURIED CHAMPAGNE
6 bottles of Champagne or Sparkling wine in a wooden chest are buried in the sand and clients are given a map with clues in order to locate "The buried treasure".
REED AND RUSH CARPET WEAVING COMPETITION
Clients watch (The process of weaving performed by an old Sri Lankan lady and then attempt to reproduce a small mat. The best "Weaver" received an authentic Sri Lankan sleep mat.
TRANSFERS BY "VICEROY SPECIAL" TRAIN
This is a 1920 colonial period steam locomotive driven train in its original colours. The 2 compartments have a total of 56 seats and the restaurant car has 16 seats. The compartments are air-conditioned and have been authentically refurbished in original style.
EXORCISM CEREMONY
This is the traditional ceremony of driving out or calling for the assistance of spirits. Many forms of "Devil Dancing" using masks of' varying types depicting the different types "Yakkas" which are the spirits of the nether world to the rhythm of many drums. The dancers appear to be possessed by demons and are in a trance from which it is purported that they communicate and obtain advice from the spirits. The ceremony, which is widely practiced in Sri Lanka, makes use of sound and lighting with open flames to create a dramatic effect.
PALM READER
The science of palmistry will be explained to clients and the performer will predict their future by studying the palm of the hand.
SNAKE CHARMER
Performer has varieties of Cobra's and Pythons, which sway to the rhythm of his flute.
EXCLUSIVE CULTURAL SHOW
The cultural show includes dances from different parts of the country which depict farming, hunting, exorcism, etc
TRADITIONAL FIRE WALKING CEREMONY
The fire walking is a ritual where a performer walks on glowing red embers to the rhythm of many drums. Though the embers are hoi enough to melt aluminium the performers bare feet are unscathed.
"AVURUDU" (NEW YEAR) GAMES
The traditional New Year or "Avurudu " is celebrated during the 2** week of April ushering in a spirit of joy and hopes for the seasons to come. Folks dances plus traditional games are held in the village. We relive this period by organizing a series of games for the group. Clients take part in 10 - 12 fun games for the group.

RIVER EXCURSION TO WITNESS A TYPICAL
SRI LANKAN WEDDING
Galatara is a little village upstream on the Bentota River. The programme includes a transfer by boat, short journey through Mangrove swamps and! on reaching the area of Galatara clients proceed to the village by bullock car (500 metres). At the village clients witness a traditional wedding ceremony and visit an ancient Buddhist temple. Simple Sri Lankan lunch at the village.
SIGIRIYA KINGDOM THEME NIGHT
Guests are escorted with heraldic-pomp on dimly lit roads, which create an exciting atmosphere to a large open area surrounded by jungle. There they find tables laid out for dinner decorated with/fowers and candles. Once clients are seated "King Kashyapa " arrives on an Elephant followed by his entourage to the roll of drums. The royal possession passes through the dinner area to the further end of the clearing where the King sits on the throne surrounded by his chieftains. He then invites the clients his special guests to partake of the Sri Lankan specialties laid out for them.
DINNER WHERE THE WAVES BREAK
07 course dinner set on a stage built on stilts in the ocean. Here the clients will enjoy the sight of waves breaking around them during dinner. The setting will be a typical fishing village with catamarans, fishing nets, fishermen and exotic music around the stage
