BHUTAN SPECIAL - CULTURAL AND SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Upon arrival, our guide will greet you. Head towards Thimphu, an hour drive from Paro. Check into the hotel and relax. Dinner at the hotel or explore any restaurant in the city.

Explore Thimphu the capital city's sites at an elevation of approximately 7600 feet above the sea level.
After breakfast, head to Kuenselphodrang to visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue. Have a peaceful morning while enjoying the panaromic view of the city.Then visit the folk heritage museum to see the indigenous bhutanese culture.

After lunch, take a relaxing stroll by the Traditional Craft Market

Later, drive to sangaygang to visit the Motithang Takin Preserve.

Enroute to Punakha, halt at Dochula Pass, which is approximately 45 minutes from Thimphu.
Dochula Pass offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range. After a brief halt at Dochula and photo opportunity, you will drive through the lush green forests with blooming varieties of rhododendrons, white magnolias, whild cherries and other flora and faunas.

In the afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong and walk towards the suspension bridge.
It is the second oldest and second largest Dzong with one of the most majestic structures in the country.

Afterwards, walk towards the longest suspension bridge measuring around 180 meters in length. It stretches across the majestic pho chu connecting the fortress to the villages on the other side. Feel yourself swept in the air and challenge yourself to cross the swaying bridge
