Surfing in Arugam Bay

Situated on the East of Sri Lanka Arugam Bay is popular for its beautiful beaches, local sites and surfing. The dry season and the best time to surf Arugam Bay is May to September. With all kinds of breaks it is ideal for any type of surfer. Some key surfing sites include Main Point, Lighthouse, Whiskey Point,Peanut Farm, Elephant Rock/Crocodile Rock, and Okanda.
